Senior Accountant – Accounts Receivable & Sales
Focus: Invoicing and Month-End Focus

We are looking for a driven Senior Accountant to manage Accounts Receivable, support sales operations in Salesforce, and take ownership of invoicing and revenue-related month-end activities. This role requires strong coordination with the Sales team and proactive follow-up to ensure timely billing and collections.
Sales & Salesforce Operations
Create and manage opportunities in Salesforce.
Validate sales contracts and booking details before invoicing.
Ensure accuracy of customer master data.
Coordinate with Sales to confirm pricing, terms, and approvals.
Invoicing & Billing
Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
Ensure proper revenue allocation and documentation.
Maintain billing schedules and subscription tracking (if applicable).
Accounts Receivable & Collections
Monitor AR aging and proactively follow up on overdue accounts.
Apply customer payments and reconcile AR ledger.
Resolve billing disputes in coordination with Sales and customers.
Drive improvements to reduce DSO.
Month-End Close
Prepare revenue-related journal entries.
Reconcile AR and deferred revenue accounts.
Support revenue recognition schedules.
Assist in monthly reporting and variance analysis.
Ownership & Proactiveness
Take initiative in following up on pending sales bookings and collections.
Ensure opportunities are closed and invoiced without delays.
Support field coordination when required to ensure transaction closure.
Identify gaps in billing or revenue processes and recommend improvements.
5-7 years of accounting experience in AR and billing.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud basics).
Strong understanding of invoicing and revenue processes.
Experience with NetSuite mandatory
Advanced Excel skills.
