Customer Success Specialist - Digital Port Clearance

In this role, you will be part of our core team, working alongside Customer Success, Product Management, Development, and Sales. You will play a key role in customer support, maintaining and analyzing maritime and customer data, and supporting clients to ensure they get maximum value from our solutions. This is a role combining customer interaction, data responsibilities, and operational tasks.

Customer Success & Operations

  • Successfully onboard new customers.

  • Perform back-office tasks such as data management and new account setup.

  • Configure and add new ports to the platform as part of our global coverage roadmap.

  • Provide customer support and ensure issues are resolved promptly.

  • Work in shifts (a typical 9–5 mindset won’t apply) and occasionally take weekend shifts.

  • Maintain and update the database for our commercial maritime products.

  • Proactively identify data discrepancies and perform corrections.

  • Create documentation based on data analysis.

  • Take ownership of the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, IT, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in customer support or in the maritime sector (onboard, port services, or maritime software).

  • A growth mindset and entrepreneurial attitude – you see challenges as learning opportunities.

  • Strong affinity with digitalization and IT; knowledge of SQL or GraphQL is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and handle multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English (spoken & written).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex topics quickly.

  • Enthusiasm for working with people combined with accuracy in managing and interpreting data.

  • Interest in maritime rules and regulations.

  • Experience in data collection, documentation, or data management.

  • Familiarity with digital maritime solutions.
