The role
As a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Data Platform and API Management, you will be responsible for enabling seamless deployment, integration, and operation of our data and API ecosystems on Microsoft Azure.
You will work closely with development and data engineering teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data pipelines and API services
What you’ll do

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps – YAML) for applications and data platforms

Deploy and manage Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and Azure Synapse Analytics

Implement CI/CD workflows for data artifacts (pipelines, datasets, notebooks)

Manage and configure Azure API Management (APIM), API policies, authentication, rate limiting, routing
-
Support integration between APIs, backend systems, and data services

Automate deployments and operational processes

Monitor data pipelines and APIs, troubleshoot issues and performance bottlenecks

Collaborate with developers and data engineers to improve system reliability
What you bring

5–7+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
-
Strong experience with:
-
Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines)
-
Terraform (must-have)
-
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
-
Azure Synapse Analytics
-
Azure API Management (APIM)
-

Experience with Terraform or ARM/Bicep
-
Good understanding of API security (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)

Familiarity with Azure networking (VNets, private endpoints)
Nice to Have

Basic knowledge of Kubernetes / AKS
-
Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana)

Experience with GitOps workflows
