The role
We are building a modern, scalable cloud platform based on Microsoft Azure to support our global maritime software solutions.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will take ownership of our core platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and automation across our cloud infrastructure and application delivery pipelines.
This is a hands-on engineering role, focused on building and operating a robust DevOps platform used by development teams worldwide.
What you’ll do
Design, build, and operate scalable Azure cloud infrastructure
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps – YAML-based)
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Operate and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments
Implement GitOps workflows (ArgoCD / Flux) and Helm-based deployments
Manage Azure networking (VNets, Private Endpoints, NSGs, Routing)
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud systems
Implement monitoring and alerting (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana)
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues
Collaborate closely with development teams to improve delivery processes
What you bring
6+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
Proven experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines), Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, and GitOps (ArgoCD / Flux)
Strong knowledge of cloud networking and security concepts
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Solid scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
Nice to Have
Experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
Experience with data platforms (ADF / Synapse)
DevSecOps experience (Key Vault, RBAC, Secrets Management)
