Join the Seafarer stories jury

Help choose the next winner in the QHSE picture category

Every ship carries more than cargo. It carries routine.
Pressure. Fatigue. Pride. Risk.

Seafarer Stories surfaces that reality through images taken by the people who live the job. Not staged. Not polished. Just life at sea and in port.

To judge those images properly, we need people who know what they are looking at.
That is why we invite experienced QHSE professionals to join the jury.

Why your voice matters

This is not “art” in the abstract sense.
This is operational truth.

As a jury member, you help ensure the selected images reflect:

  • Real working life on board and in port
  • The pressures crews carry, often quietly
  • The moments where good QHSI work prevents trouble
  • What deserves to be seen, understood, and remembered

What being on the jury involves

  • Reviewing a curated shortlist of submitted images
  • Scoring them against three criteria: authenticity, relevance, storytelling
  • A structured process designed to respect your time
  • Public credit as a jury member (if you want it)
